Vandelism!!

Grr, this makes me so mad! i went to mejier today to pick up somestuff for myself so i could cook dinner, and then i got to looking so i picked up some fog lights for my truck, went to the pay out, walked out my truck was out there a ways but still in with the rest of the cars, i came out, all 4 tires slashed driver side window broke cd player stolen all cds gone, and they tried to get my speakers but couldnt get the seat to go up far enough, and they actually took a key to the nice cherry red paint, i'm so mad, the insurance company wont replace all the stuff that is missing because the truck isnt worth what is wrong/missing out of it, so either i A)keep the truck w/o turing into insurance and file po po report, Or B)File to the insurance company and buy back for 500 after they pay me 1000 for it. I dunno kinda they were new tires on there, and it looks like they scared one of the rims too, looks like when they slashed they were morons and cut downwards, i wounder why they would pick my truck though i parked by ppl with nice cars i figured they would go for those, Guess not,

Sorry, had to vent ,brandon

Damn kids. I've had stuff done to my truck before too: Tire slashed, letters missing from the hood, transmission lines taken apart. As for the gashes in your tires, take them to a good tire shop and see if they can patch them up. The guy said they could fix mine (about 1.5inch in the sidewall), but the tires wasn't PERFECTLY balanced. I couldn't tell a difference.

hey sorry about your truck! but how do you know it was kids? I`m a kid and a ford lover and I would never do anything like that!so singleing all of us out is not a good thing.specially if you have kids, you will want them to look after you someday.its the same as singlling out a whole race cuz one of them is an a$$ hole.

well i still have the old set of tires i can put on the rims. they are 31's and look bulky on the rim but i guess i have to do something with it, i didnt turn it into the insurance company, but i did find they ****ed with wiring under the hood too, so i'm guessing it was either someone that knew me or someone that knew what they were doing and screwed with it

it almost sounds like they slashed the tires because they couldn't get them off. Or, they slashed them so you couldn't chase them if you showed up.

Sorry about what happened to your truck, but I have to agree with 80`F-150
I am also a kid (17 yrs) and I also love fords and would never do that to anyone. I kinda get offeneded when something like that happens and peaple start saying "darn kids!!". Because a few bad eggs whent and ruined there lives by destroying other peaples property peaple think that all kids are bad. And also if everyone always thinks it is kids who do this stuff, you only enforse a negative steriotype, and then some kids who start out good start doing this stuff because they see it as there job as a kid. Some kids at school last semester were talking about slashing the principles tires and when I asked why the only answers I got were "it is fun," and the worst of all "that's what we do". sorry for getting off the subject, it is a real shame that happened to you

As for the wires under the hood, have you thought about putting in one of thoes locking hood latches, I have one of thoes and before I put in my sterio I would leave the doors unlocked because the only things of value were under the hood. So even if you do lock your doos you will know that you truck ahould start right up with no problems even if it was vandalized, unless they mest with your dash or gas tank. When my dad saw that I had that locking hood he wasn't happy because he saw it as a problem if you are working on it and have to keep getting in and out of the hood, but don't let that scare you away, because all I do is turn the key to unlock it, pull and latch and when it is pulled, lock it and take the key out, then it is like a normal hood latch. Just a suggestion.

I'll have it repainted for free though, they took the paint all the way off, back to baremetal, musta used something hard lol

well, i found out who it was, and i will be pressing charges on them, even though it was my old sony cd player that i lost the receipt to that was stolen, i'm going to charge them for the bla punkt Comp Radio my bro had put into his car 2-3 weeks ago. and i'm going to have 3 est written up high so i can get the whole truck painted again, they got the top too i didnt see that when i filed report. and the window is 42$ new lolthat was nothing major, and as for the cut wires i'm gonna have to figure that out on my own, they also broke my dash pad which is my problem, but i'm happy, the radio my bro had installed is 800$ the one that was in there was 150-200$ glad i can stick it to the people who screwed me, also they have to buy me one rim and 4 new tires. so its alright i guess. lol if anyone thinks i'm mean for over charging them for the radio, i dont really care someone has to teach them a lesson and not to mess with stuff that isnt theres, Its a local "gang" so to speak, they are so tough, NOT but anyways, i'm happy!! yay.. lol

Here's a thought. If you were at a grocery store or a gas station contact the store and ask them for the surveillance tapes, they will probably tell you that they don't have any, but you know what - most of them do. If they won't give you access to them, definitely get the cops involved. Then when they find the *******, press charges to the fullest extent of the law you might even see if the store is interested in pressing charges with you so that you can punish these little disrespectful punks with every power you have. I swear, someone does that crap to my truck and I won't rest until I go vigilante on them and render their entire family tree USELESS! Stupid people shouldn't breed.

Hahahahah the cops did an "investigation" on my truck. and i had my old subs in there, but they said Rockard Fosgate, i told them they were a couple months old they asked me for the receipt cause they noticed the foam around the sub it self was torn and asked if it was like it, it was, and i'm getting 2 new rockardfosgate subs (punch3) cause that is another install my bro had into his GrandPrix GTP lol. its funny. but hey they gotta pay, maybe they will learn

So they actually found the guys? You know, if they have a name on the check they send you, you could do a people search, get an address and call in an air strike. If only revenge were that easy. Or maybe go back to the days of cartoons and drop and anvil on the s.o.b.'s.

I think I am going to rig small cameras in mine so that when someone does decide to get froggy with my truck I will have photographic evidence.

Stupid punk kids. While my truck was not running, someone actually tried to steal it on three separate occassions from one of the nicer neighborhoods in town. They are stupid. Like we wouldn't notice our rigs rolling around town and take them out for jacking them.
