I have spent most of today going back and forth to napa and schucks exchanging parts, and buying tools to replace my O2 sensor. I finally had everything I need ( so i thought)-- and the special socket designed to take off the sensor stripped the stupid thing. Now what do i do? I am open to any suggestions.
I feel like rolling the thing into the Columbia right now.
What is it you are working on. Engine?, Explorer?, Mountaineer?, Year? Can't really help if we don't know what it is.
BTW - Not sure what the point of your signature is supposed to be but I don't think it is intended to be flattering to our President. I would recommend including a description of your truck there (in case you forget to include a description in you next post) and save the political cracks for websites dedicated to that sort of thing.
well texan, Admin edited, here is your information. 98 explorer sport 4.0. Now with that information are you able to come up with a way to remove a stripped oxygen sensor?
