Air conditioning issue in 98 F150
#18
I'm having the exact problem. 98 f150 blows super cold until certain acceleration conditions. I've assumed it to be a vacuum leak, however I've tracked all vacuum lines and everything looks good. does anyone know how i might detect it to be the blend door? When people are referring to replacing the switch, which switch? I live in phoenix, az and i'm really losing my sanity without a/c.
thanks.

98 f150 a/c problems
I'm having the exact same problem. Several people told me most likely to be a vacuum leak. well I've checked thoroughly and no breaks in the vac lines. Does anyone know how to diagnose it to be the blend door? I've heard to install a new control switch, I guess that's the next step. Any ideas would be so appreciated. I live in Phoenix, AZ and believe me life is not easy without a/c this time of the year.
