P.S. I couldn't get up that hill because I wasn't using the right gear.
4low 3rd and I only have bolt-on mods on my 351M
the 460 is still on the engine stand incomplete

Gyger asked if he could put that vid of mine up on his site. I come across footage of my truck all over the place on 4x4 sites so I never care if people want to add it to their video collection. My only issue would be if I found someone who was claiming it to be their truck, but that hasn't happened yet. Besides, a quick plane ride would fix that problem

Yeah it was a good time until I couldn't make it out.
Next on my list is winch and more lift....just gotta get a
little more $$$ together.
And wheeling by myself sucks ****, I have no one to pull me out.

Dude, that's awesome! You said you were in the wrong gear, what would you have done different? looks like you would've needed a paddleboat to get up that hill. Melty snow on top of mud sucks. On an ATV you may have rocked yourself forward for an hour or two, but I don't see anyone getting up that hill in a full size truck. "A"for effort and A+ on your truck. It looks really cool. From what I've heard, getting stuck is 1/2 the fun. Then you can keep spending money on recovery equipment, more HP, bigger tires/wheels, & club memberships so you can get each other out of those rough spots each month. I'm jealous. Looks fun! RC

BTW....Thanks for the video! Now I have something to do at work besides actually working. The other teachers in the workroom are strangely attracted to the engine sounds, rock crawling and roll-over videos I always watch on the T1. Here at home I have dial-up.... guess I need bigger tires for the computer! Gotta' love them Fords!

I would've started in 2cn 4low and then shifted to 3rd 4low.
3rd gear in 4low has a good amount of torque to keep you
going but also takes awhile to wind out and helps build up
alot more speed than 2nd 4high like I was in.
what would you have done different?

Half the "coolness" for me in mudding is engine roar. (explains my diesel obsession)

Looks like it was fun. Wheeling alone sure does suck. Next time you go out give me a yell. I can be in Strongsville in 20 min. We got a place here in Lorain we go, but expect severe paint scraping and probably dents if you run fullsize. Maybe that's just my driving. Would love to go somewhere wide open like that pipeline. I'll try to get a video to send to you.

well i suppose i live in the stoneage cause i dont' own a video camera but i am looking for one to mount in my truck. i will send ya a video too but prolly not anytime soon, hopefully one day!
