Power steering conversion help!

I have a 1971 f100 4x4 that is just impossible to steer, I think the gear box needs rebuilding but I want to go a different route. I would like to install a powe rsteering system and disc brakes from a newer truck. can someone tell me what truck and year should I buy for this and the least hastle to install. I understand theres some fabrication required but im ready for it. please help

pull up next to a 73-79 and start swappin. might as well get the brakes too huh?

Mine was a bear to change directions too, it helped to go back to stock size tires and wheels.

I believe you will have to get the steering box rebuilt and changed for your aplication - or it steers backwards

socalf1004x4,go to the Tech Articles on right hand tool bar then click on steering and suspension then scroll down to the article on how to power steer a 67-72 F-100 4x4.There are many disc brake conversions available for our trucks,try Jeffs Bronco Graveyard or some of the other site sponsors.
