Problems with Idle
I have a 2004 Excursion with the 6.0. The problem I have is sometimes the idle goes up and down and the motor shakes really bad. Its been to the dealer 3 times to upgrade the CPU and still does it. Has anybody else have this problem Thanks.

I had the same problem in my 03 6.0. it was the oil. I was overfilling it.It turns out that when you drain the oil only 13.5 quarts come out. when you put 15 back in it overfills and the oil foams.The dipstick should only be wet on the bottom quarter of the fill mark... Try that,it worked for me.
