Whacky Temp. gauge
I have a 98 2.5 litre automatic 2wd. ranger. My problem is when I come to a stop light and sit for over a minuete the temp. gauge drops almost all the way to cold. After I drive about 50 feet down the road it jumps back up to normal. It just started doing this today. I don't think the thermostat is stuck open because it reached operating temp. in normal time and has heat. Any suggestions that you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
