ttb to solid dana 44
I am finally ready to change over from a ifs/ttb front end to a
solid front axel out of a 79' bronco into my 84' f150. I know that
i can get a kit from jeffs bronco grave yard but i dont have 3000 dollars to spend. I really need some tech help from someone who has
done this from scratch. MEASURE TEN TIMES CUT ONE TIME! I am really exicted to do this but i am still needing input from you good ford folks! Any help you might be able to give would be just wonderful.
I have already intalled the 9" rear which was easy. Thanks Eric

Take a look at this article in the tech articles section. It is in the older section so you need to be logged on to see it.
Someone did that conversion using the radius drops from the 78 and just repositioned them farther back.
There will need to be a panhard rod(I think that's what its called) put on to keep the front end from going side to side
