Carb Question

I am rebuilding a 84 302 its going to be stock, except for some mild porting and dual exhaust is an edelbrock 600 cfm carb too much carb for this engine and if so can you give me a recommendation. It has its stock 2 barrel carb and I'd like to try a 4 barrel since everyone say they are so much better.

Carb Question

A 600cfm carb with vacumm secondaries should work fine, you could go to a 650cfm with a mildly heavy secondary spring. A 4bbl is much better than a 2bbl. for performance in all aspects.
