90' diesel f 250 6.0 liter, 4wd 4 speed granny tranny 32 inch tires. no info on gear ratio. axproximately what could I expect as far as power with this truck? Do they bog down on take off, or can they at least get out of thier own way?
How about fuel mileage? How well do they tow? thanks!

6.0 didn't come out until 03? and then you have to watch the early 6.0 (some had lots of bugs) a 90 diesel should have a IDI 7.3 .... power lots of it probably no more than 65 to 70 on hwy with the 4 speed. take off how quick can you shift?... we can still burn the tire off our 6.9 wrecker fuel milage will vary on truck from 10-20 ... towing lets put it this way they will pull more than the truck can withstand...
it's a 90, unless he changed the front clip to hide some kinda damage, which wouldnt suprise me around here. Anyway, i decided not to pursue it, as he was very vague as to when maintenance and such had been done. I asked when the last time he tuned it up was and he says, "uh, uhm, uh, month or two ago." I asked who did the work and he says "I did it myself" Somethin didnt seem right so i asked if he replaced the SPARK PLUGS and DISTRIBUTOR cap at the same time, he says "yep" So I called Him on that and he said "well I thought you just menat the ignition system and was used to calling plugs and cap and such" So i'm like yeah whatever" I then crank it up and he seems to be in a big hurry for me to shut it down. i take a look around the engine and everything seems fine, so I peek back in the cab, and see the Temp gauge is rising so i shut it off and crawl back under the truck and find a coolant leak, and trace it to the back of thje block and BINGO! a crack in the water Jacket. I tell the guy what i found and he says "oh man i didnt know the engine was busted" "i'll take 500 off the price (which was originally 2500) i'm like yeah man funny, and leave.
