Rear Leaf Springs
Does anyone have some tips on how to remove the bolts out of the bushings on rear leaf springs? The nuts are off but the springs won't budge. I'm trying to replace a busted set on a 1988 F150 but can't get the old set off.

They tend to get rusted into the bushing sleeve. If you have an air impact it will break them loose and you can get them spinning well so that they'll slide out. Otherwise you'll have to get busy with a penetrating lube and carefully pound the bolt out from the back. If you do this be careful not to munch the threads on the end.
