i got stuck.
so i went to sears, back into a spot and park my truck. come out, get in, give it gas and guess what, it wont move. after a few failed attempts messin with the gas pedal, i get out to put her in 4.....yeah, ONE wheel is on ice, the other on DRY pavement...my manly truck is nothing but a helpless girl. why cant ford make a limited slip that works, i mean, i paid for it? this was quite embarrasing.

I have to say that with the 6 speed ice usually isn't a problem unless I am on a steep hill. If I have any problems I will just start in a lower gear to get going. I have heard of guys setting the parking break to help the LS work better on ice. To slick to activate it. But I agree with Tim, take it and get it checked out!
