Shaking violently when breaking
When I break my truck shakes like crazy, I was reading something that said engaged auto hubs might cause this. It seems to be intermittent so this is why I am leaning more towards the hubs being the problem. (good thing I have WARNs on the way!) I had my truck in the dealership 2 months ago and had a brake inspection with high marks so I wouldnt see why they would be causing it. also it seems worse at higher speeds.

I also think it could be a warped rotor, but if that was the case you would think that the dealership would have figured it out. Do you torque your lug nuts to the right specs, if not it will cause your rotors to warp.

My '92 shook badly when I applied the brakes (it is "brakes" BTW. "Breaks" are fractures... LOL) before I bought new tires. The belts in the old ones started seperating, causing lumps to pop up on the treads. These lumps are easy to spot.
