Im trying to get my truck up to par for inspection. Its a 1980 Ford F 150.
I have check all fuses and still nothing
Can someone please help me out with this
theres a wire comin off yer tranny.. mine is right next to the kickdown for the tranny... make sure its plugged in..i had no reverse lights either and thats what my problem was the connector that i had to plug it in to was some where on the frame rail of the left side
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 25-Apr-02 AT 08:34 PM (EST)]I had the same problem with my 80 and the switch on the side of the tranny was bad. I don't have access to the schematic as I am posting this, but if I did, or if you have a diagram, you can look at what wires to jumper together on the plug to see if the back-up lamps work and it is the switch that is broke. There might be two other wires on the switch that go to the neutral safety circuit.
