O/D Off Light
Ummm....yeah, I was driving down the road a few days ago and noticed the O/D Off light blinking on the instrument panel. The shift pattern seemed pretty off.....I don't know though. Any ideas would be helpful.

You've thrown a transmission fault code. You need to get it scanned and reset to see what the problem is. When a fault code is detected it causes the transmission to shift very hard. This is likely what you are detecting when you say the shift pattern is off. Get this taken care of soon. The hard shifting is tough on your transmission. You can reset yourself by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes but you should really get it scanned to find out what the problem is.

Take your vehicle to the dealer or good transmission shop and see if a code was stored. Sometimes, the fault is nothing. This is particularly true with '95s, the first year of the electronic transmissions. The 95s will throw off fault codes very easily. Usually a battery disconnect is good for 6 months to a year. Later years don't seem quite as sensitive.
