Brake Lines- often with an 8" lift people will just change the brake line mount on the frame, bending it down to get more out of it. I opted for the new brake lines for safety's sake.

Trac Bar/ Pitman Arm- both will need to be changed to work with the 8" lift. Trac bar you will either need an adjustable one, or a new trac bar bracket, or both. If you get a lower trac bar bracket (designed for the 8" lift) you will also need to get a pitman arm designed for the 8"

Sway Bar- You will need to lengthen the sway bar lengths accordingly, or if your 6" kit comes with NEW links, you can flip the frame mounts to under the frame to gain more length.

Driveshaft- Most people who install an 8" lift in the front have their shaft lengthened, usually by about 2".

Shocks- You will need longer shocks than what comes with the 6" lift.

Rear- If you also plan to give the rear that extra 2" the same applies for the shocks, brakelines, and in addition it might be wise to purchase a carrier bearing drop.

(I think I got everything... maybe not. Your best bet is to either go with a complete 8" kit, or find a distributor who will sell you the 8" kit with 6" springs and the 2" hangers)
