oil pressure-based electrical connection?
Off the back of my '86 f250's 460 there is a distribution block for oil pressure. Out the back of the metal "T" there is what looks like a normal oil pressure sending unit but off the right side there is another connection of some kind holding a two-wire harness connection. The wires coming out of this unit run along the drivers side valve cover and are then bundled along with the distributor & temp sending unit wires. Does anybody know what this additional sensor is called and its purpose?

If the wires going to it are red/yellow, then it's a switch inline to the fuel pump relay. It cuts the fuel pump off in case the engine quits, along with the inertia switch in case you are in an accident.
