Hey guys
Just found out last night that my buddy's gonna have an event at his place we all refer to as Mudfest. May 14 in Robertsville, MO. That's about 45 minutes west of St. Louis. If any of you guys remember Lesterville, this is like a Saturday-only Lesterville. If any of you guys wanna make a MO Chapter thing out of it, we can have a bonfire and BBQ and sleepover at my place the night before, caravan there, and come back to my place and party some more, and head home on Sunday. It's only about 20 minutes from my place. This really is a family event that is actually getting quite safe, and there usually aren't any stupid antice going on (girls with no tops, stupid drunks, etc). Lemme know what ya'll think.
Believe it or don't, they've got a big field full of mud not even a foot deep, that if you had some decent mud tires on the back, you could have a real good time out there, doing donuts and what not. Everyone out there is pretty civil and willing to pull nearly anyone else out of a stuck.
mmm would you dis own me if I brought one of my NON fords? my 3 fords are down right now (79 motor) (76 to much to list) and my 93(explorer motor) wife would kill me if I took her 97 out there..... could bring my 76 dodge with 6 inch lift 400/4speed (354's) or a ol stock 4 door chevy with 305 full time 4x4 ( 4:11's )of course they all would have to be trailered out there with a ford
The point is to get out and have a bunch of fun. Besides, if you DIDN't bring your non Fords, I wouldn't have any fun not being able to get anyone unstuck all day. My parent's truck is a 91 Chevy cab on a 79 Ford frame, but I took the bowtim emblem off the front and screwed a Ford blue oval on there instead. I suggest you do the same...
