Question Another LLS question

I have a 98 Expy EB. It is in the shop ( not a dealership) for warranty work. One of the issues is the Check Susp light comes on after about 5 miles. The compressor is working and the Expy seems to be leveling out. The shop can't get any codes out of it though. I even had them plug their scanner in while driving it until the Check Susp light came on and they are telling me they are getting nothing from mine. No codes, no comms. Their scanner works when they hook it up to other vehicles. Any ideas on what is going on so I can tell them what to do to get the codes.
Thanks ahead of time.

My bet is its a failing sensor, not one that is sending a true code, thus the computer isn't logging it nor is the scanner picking it up. I suggest they disconnect the sensor, drive it a bit, even if you get an immediate code, then scan it, reconnect the sensor and erase the code. If you get no code immediately, drive it the usual 5 miles to check that. If you don't get a code, I would say you have your answer.
