Engine Swap
What all has to be changed in swapping a 4.6 L engine with a 5.4 Liter in a 1998 F150? Or would it be easier to drop a 302 in it? I am tired of the pinging problem!

Have you cleaned the EGR ports? A clogged EGR system can cause pinging.
A 5.4 swap would be easier than the 302, but will still require a wiring harness change along with the PCM and exhaust system.
