I need a little help we just picked up a 1960's tuck that we are no longer sure of the year for. Title says 1962 was told it was a 64. I am hoping that someone could decode it for us VIN F26ck230713
Well, since the frame and assuming the drivetrain are 78, it's not gonna matter too much if it's 61-64, or 65-66 even. Most of the differences are in the the drivetrains, suspensions, and frames and how they meet up with the body. The body parts for 61-66 are generally interchangeable. Somethings are different because of model and engine options.
A 61 grille has the word FORD as part of the grille. Later years have the seperated letters on the upper grille piece right below the hood. 65-66 has turn signals in upper corners 61-64 are in middle of grille. I think heaters were different in 64 (not 100% sure on that).
