Question Suspension question?

If I install a 2.5-inch leveling kit and 33-inch tires on 18-inch rims how many inches will I gain compared to the stock ride height? I just want to make sure I can still get in my garage. The summer heat is murderous in Texas. Thanks everyone.

I would guess you would gain 3-4" in height over stock. This is assuming your stock tires are about 27-28 inches tall. You gain half of the difference in tire diameter (7"), plus another inch or so at the front of the roof with the leveling kit. This is just a quick guess. It is going to be tight unless you have tall garage doors.

what size tires do you have now? you could get a more accurate estimation if you knew that for sure. Just take half of the difference between the diameter now and 33," then tack on 2" to be safe...you should be good.
