i have a 94 f150, and got my eye on a pair of bassani ceramic coated headers. i hear to these sorts of upgrades as 'bolt on' performance, how bolt-on are they? how simple is this sort of installation. im reluctant to take this sort of job to a mechanic if it can be done at home. is it literally unbolting the old headers and bolting on the new ones?
pretty much all you have to do is make sure the Y pipe will work for you and the headders are a job of unbolting the maniflods and new gaskets and then bolting the headders on. Not sure where the O2 sensor is because i'm not firmiliar with the newer truck with sensors as you can tell by my sig i'm running old school technology.
