Unhappy more horse power

I have a 2001 f150 4X4 with a 4.6L v-8. I purchased a camper that loaded weighs less than the approximate 6100 lb limit of the truck. The problem is that I can't get much over 60 mph and less on hills. Does anyone have any suggestions for more Horsepower. Can I install a larger engine that will be an easy exchange? Well, to start off, no engine swap is a user-friendly task. Second, how much less are we talking? If you're willing to spend the money, spend it on a blower. It's the fastest and easiest way to get huge gains in hp and torque. Check out some Kenne Bell's, Vortech, and Paxton. They make some good blower kits, and are relatively affordable. A crate engine would run you a whole lot more. Intake, exhaust, chip, headers, all good modifications for hp. All those mods PLUS a blower = huge hp gains. Probably 90% over stock. If I were you, I'd get a bigger pulley for the blower to turn the boost down. You don't want to tear up your motor. Also, seems like you do some towing on the highway. Just to make sure, buy a transmission cooler (40-80 bucks at local parts shop) and get that installed. Transmissions don't like towing in OD.

Trade it in on a F250 or 350 with a diesel. 6.0 will do, but if you get a 7.3 turbo you won’t even know the campers there.

Start with a Diablosport Predator tuner for more power and throttle response. Lock out overdrive when hauling in hilly areas.
