can any one tell me if it posi or what and would i be able to put some sort of locker in it if it is limited slip
if it is posi then it isnt working only one tire spins in snow or mud i would like to put some sort of locker in the front to get better traction when i trying to get to my fish house
Well for newer year'd Fords. Was very rare that any locker or limited slip was ever put into the front axle. A person would have to specail order it that way. Not even sure if it was offered as a option. I know you could order it in the rear axle for limited slip. If you have one wheel spinning then it is most likely open or limited slip. I have seen limited slip axles not turn both tires if one is on pavement and the other on ice. It does try to move the truck. But keep in mind the "Try's to move truck"
I am going to stake my bet on Open differential in your front axle. There are lots of lockers you can put into it, for the added traction you desire.
