[updated:LAST EDITED ON 09-May-02 AT 09:23 AM (EST)]I have a 1980 ford f-150 with a 302. When it gets warm it will shut off and will not start back till it cools off. what could this be. I have put a new coil pack, spark plug. What else could be wrong. I am out of ideas. thank you for your time.

If it ain't broke.....change stuff till it is!

The Ignition Module on the front of the distributor might be bad...try replacing that.....

If he has an original 1980 set-up, the module will be mounted on the drivers side fenderwell.
