I do not believe the computer has anything to do with the ac. Does the truck start? What engine, how many miles? Is the check engine light on? If the compressor is laying off to one side, they probably are having some kind of problem. Ac fix can be easy and cheap or real expensive.
its a 96 f350 with 351 95000 may have flipped, no hundred thou dial, on used car lot with bad reputation hes asking $6900 has a 8 ft fisher commercial plow so i suspect is been beat on
n.y inspection has become impassable unless all sensors and cpu working good, it ran ok
no engine light smelled like oil burning though.
i really like the truck but he also not giving 30 day warrenty that most used dealers do
i am very suspious of it breaking down majorly like engine or 4 wheel drive components
If the dealer has a bad reputation, you should check the codes yourself. What if he pulled the bulb or something so it wouldn't light. Did you check the fluids? Do any of them smell bad? Any puddles under the truck? If the trans is an auto with that many miles and a plow, it is ready for a trans. I would be suspect of not getting any warranty. Maybe you could take it to a mechanic and have it checked over. Do a compression check. You can also check it with car fax. Most dealers give you the report around here. Good luck with it.
