351w problems when hot
i have an 83 f250 with a 351w the truck will ilde when hot but when hot it cuts out under aload the truck has a points type distbutor that has been put in it some were down the road
i thinkin coil ,fuel filter, carb rebulid not really sure any help would be nice

351w problems when hot
Does it cut out when you goose the throttle, but does ok when you gradually push on the gas? If so, it may be something wrong with the accelerator pump diaphram in the carb. If somebody de-commissioned the the original dist, and you still have the original carb with a bunch of wires coming out of it, you might want to change to an older style carb to match the dist you have. Or an aftermarket intake manifold and carb.

i just put a new diphram pump in it it could be bad but until it hot and is under a load you can romp on it all you it all ready has an older stlye carb i guess ill spend $30 on a rebulid kit
another thing the fuel pump leaks down went the truck anit runnin
