You were smart to walk, err, RUN from that one. They were asking too much money for a trashed truck. There are plenty of them out there and you will be able to find one. It just might take you some time. It is too bad there are dealers still out there that think that high pressure sales and running rough shod over the customer is the way to go. I have a dealer that I work with that bends over back wards for me. They are fair and honest with me and I am with them. Good luck to you and hope you find your dream truck for the right price!!

Red face

right ronin007, there are others and better ones out there, lol i made sure the sales man heard me say that b4 we got our deposit and then left.
it's ashame that "**** hole dealers/sales man" like the one had would be like that.i really don't get it..i look at it this way u have to treat the customer like gold since you know that there is big money involved in a sale..not many peeps come in with cash,or money on the spot.
i guess they are the type who just takes, and pushs u right out the doors with out sayin thanks;-/ .
im kinda glad i turned hubby around one this one.(you see sometimes a womans presence and 2 sence does make sence!)
well lol on the road again...ill keep u guys updated if i/we found "THE" truck

I would check with Jeff Clark at Van Bortel Ford in Victor, NY.. one of our sponsors. Jeff could let you know what they have or could get. Look in the new truck section on the forums. Also under 1956MarkII. If you are near Ithaca I know of one I would stay away from...

If I'm buying from a dealer then the whole dam truck better be detailed! They shouldn't even put it on the lot until they go thru it (safety & maint checks), fix anything that needs fixin, and then detail it.
