wet plug wells
I have been told that the spark plug wells get wet because of thier design! I have a 97 150 4.6 4x4! It looks like I am going to have to put another set of plugs and wires in it! It is misfiring on #6 cylinder-according to the code! Any ideas how to keep them dry (other than moving out of the Michigan snow)? And also, how are the cylinders numbered? Same as a SB Chevy? Thanx

97 was a bad design! servers are busy right now, but search my previous replies on this topic by my username. (weekendland) I had same problem after rain in chicagoland. Is the weather stripping (seal) between cowel and hood 2 pieces or one? if 2, start there. Again, search my replies regarding this problem. Hope this helps, if not, track me down via email.
