1995 Bronco

my abs light is on, my speedo is dead and the overdrive "off" light on the shifter is flashing, speed sensor in the rear end has been replaced but didn't help any ideas?

All connected to the sensor. On a wild quess, have you checked the fuse for the ABS and the main power relay?

Overdrive off light is an indicator of transmission issues. Does your horn work? If not check the position 3 relay in the power distribution box under the hood on the driver's side, it's for the horn/speed control. Position 2 relay is anti-lock brakes. Check your relays after determining that the fuse is good. Is your transmission operating correctly? If so I'd guess you may have a relay or sensor out of whack.

I dont' know about the overdrive light flashing, but I had my abs light come on and my speedo stop when my speed sensor broke off.
I ended up having to get my tone ring and speed sensor replaced to fix my issue.
Maybe put another speed sensor in to see if the new one you got is defective?? Maybe reseating it and double checking connections may help too.

Does the truck shift normally?
It didn't when my speed sensor bit the dust.

had tyhe exact same thing the other night and an auxilary back up lamp had shorted causing #5 fuse in the power dist box to blow. it controls all the above mentioned items
