increasing miles per gallon

Have anyone tried any of those miracle claiming gas reducing add ons or fluids. My 1981 302 gets about 11 mpg highway. Replaced wires, plugs, distributor cap, rotor and air filter but nothing seems to help. Ready to start looking for another truck. Pretty soon. Perhaps a smaller one. Its a shame because I love my truck and it does look rather well for its year.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know about those fluids but I put some good spark plugs and wires in my truck and replaced the tailgate with a net and I've seen some improvment.

Pump the tires up to the max sidewall pressure. That should help some.
