Stumble at Warm Up
Great site, I have a '99 F250 SD crew cab. I don't have any significant problems with it, having 153,000 mi on the clock, but there is a little quirk that concerns me that maybe someone has an answer to. When the engine is cold she runs smooth, but when the temp. gauge moves just inside the operating range box she has a slight stumble (hardly noticable) till the needle gets to the normal range. I noticed this last summer, which on a few occasions the engine died at the stop light. She hasn't died again but she still stumbles slightly. The truck isn't showing any codes, runs smooth the rest of the time, and gets what, I have found after reading the posts on this site,average to above average mileage(16-19).She does smoke alittle when cold here in the Chicago winter for a minute or two when its 20deg.or below but quits. P.S. I never had to plug her in over night yet. Thanks,
