Check suspension light removed

Well I just finished removing the check suspension light on my 98 4x4 Exp. The whole process took about an hour by the time you remove the dash to get to the suspension module. I took some pics of the module and in the pics you can see what parts of the dash have to be removed. Here are some pics.

You have to remove most of the dash to get this module

Here is the dash and suspension module removed

Here is where it kind of got confusing, the pics above shows that the wire you need to cut is on the black connector pin 12 the color wire is dark green with a light green strip but mine was not on pin 12 or on the black connector. It was on the grey connector and the wire was a dark green with light green strip. Youll see in the pics below.

Here is a pics of the pin lay out for the black connector on the module, like I said mine was on the grey module.

Here is a pic of pin 12 on the black connector, On my Exp this was the wrong wire. I found out after cutting the wire and the check suspension light was still on.

This pic has the correct wire cut, it was located on the grey connector, I can't tell you what pin it is, but I can tell you it is a green wire with a light green almost lime green strip. There are other green wires with light geen strips but they are a heavier gauge. The wire you need to cut is like a 18 or 20 gauge wire.

Good luck and I hope this hepls every one.

I also have these pics on my webpage if you can get to it, been having problems with it. The pics are located on photo page 2 at www.yellow94.stangnet.com
