Radiator

Hey guys, I've got a question.. I was trying to find out why my truck was overheating the other day, and my girlfriend's step-dad came outside, and we found the problem, a leak, but his exact words were "Damn thats a small radiator".. Ive got a single-core radiator and his is a dual core, and bigger, too.. we both have the 302 ..mine is Fuel Injected.. hes got an '82 F-150 with a 5 spd and I've got the '85 with the AOD tranny.. he told me my radiator might not be able to cool my engine very well and I should replace it.. well I've got automatic tranny but I plan on getting a transmission cooler.. instead of using the radiator for cooling the transmission.. so what radiators would bolt right in? Would a bigger one out of an F-150 with a 351 work? Or is there a good aftermarket radiator I should get? I need to replace it sooner or later, it had a hole in it, but Barsleaks worked ok for now. Just wondering, any ideas lemme know please! Thanks.

Usually if you go to advance auto or someplace like that, they will give you the option of ordering the original, or a thicker one for more money.
