ABS light on
I was going down my friends snowy driveway and the tires started to lock up several times going down the hill. I'd feel the abs kick in and would back off the pedal anyway too.
Anyway, now the stupid light is staying on. Even when restarting it.
Oh, just thought of something; I'll try unhooking the batteries, waiting 20 minutes and hooking them back up again.
That worked last time my stupid digital odometer said, " Test" and then was all solid lite up after I turned it off and restarted. The battery unhooking fixed that one. Guess I'll have to reset my radio stations again.
Another one I hate, is the darn water in diesel light. And NO, I do not have water in my fuel. I believed it the first 5 times and I drained it all the time, just about wore the dang allen screw out. It would stay on sometimes even after just draining. Plus it would come on when I took a hard and fast left hand turn. It will go off on its own now for like a few days at a time.
My miles is 34,000 now. Guess the warrenty won't cover that stupid malfunctioning water in diesel light. Never got around to taking it in for that, was happening around 15,000 maybe.
All these sensor and more complicated electrical systems cause too many dang problems. There is a guy in this area that put extra lights all over his dually, the extra load caused his trucks computer not to run the engine right, -or something close to that.
I have an 2003 6.0 F250.
