F250 SuperDuty: Horn begins to blow after engine is turned off. Local Ford dealer states the contacts for the horn in the steering wheel have quit working.
I'm told i will need to have the entire airbag system replace because the horn contacts were manufactured and installed as part of the airbag system. Has anyone everheard of this. As a life long ford truck man I've never heard of this.
($697.00 repair/replace) I just cut the wires. If I pull the horn fuse the check engine light comes on.
