EGR Question

If I want to replace the EGR valve in my 1983 300 I-6, what does it entale? Do I just unbolt the two bolts and slide it out, or are there internal parts that are connected to the valve itself? What does it take before I get myself in a fix.

Thanks, Arnie

Hi,

If it's like the one that was on my 79 with a 302 that's all there is to it. Hopefully the new one comes with a new gasket.

Good luck,
Lee

Just remove the vacuum line and remove the two bolts. It will come right out.
