EGR Question

If I want to replace the EGR valve in my 1983 E-100 300 I-6, what does it entale? Do I just unbolt the two bolts and slide it out, or are there internal parts that are connected to the valve itself? What does it take before I get myself in a fix.

There are no internal attachments. Just what you see on the outside and a gasket.
