Question HP Factory Headers?

My 1965 F1oo has a 1969 Mustang 302 CI V8.
Would like to put HP Factory Headers on it. Can anyone tell what was available for the SB engine?

From: Destin/Ft. Walton Beach,
You're pretty much limited to aftermarket. None of the factory headers are actually high performance. Even if they were, none were made to fit your 65. Look for headers for a 69 to 79 F100 with a factory 302. Your 65 has pretty much the same frame in the front.

I'd try to see if a set of stock shorty headers, or something similar, off a 87-95 Mustang. I got a set of stainless headers off ebay for $20!

Sure, that's an option, but they aren't high performance. The stock Mustang headers are fabricated to make it easy to install them on an assembly line. Not for high performance. They're pinched off bigtime at the head flange. Ford small blocks are already lacking for size in the exhaust port department. Why would you want to install headers that further block off the exhaust ports?
