Alternator wiring check...
OK gang, I just need to get a refresher as it's been a while.. I have the four wires in the back of the alternator down pat but it's the two "barbs" in the wire harness I need clarrified. The first barb (in the harness from the radiator support) is a solid black and a yellow, this attaches to the positive battery side of the solenoid. Second "barb" upstream towards the alternator is a thick black with pink and thinner black, this should attach to the block at the same point as the negative battery lead connection, i.e. ground (just around the corner from the bottom the alternator attachment hole).
