forever fords
living here in northern mi dependability is a must, especiaslly in the winter i have owned fords since i got my drivers license (74 pinto wagon) up to the current 2000 f150 and 2000 explorer my wife drives.
never had much of a problem with the fords but the 1 gm i owned gave me the fits. I owned a 69 f250 camper special with a 360 that i drove to work in detroit 200 miles one way when i drove truck.. other than 15 mpg was a good truck and i miss its towin and carrying ability. if anyone else lives here in the frozen north give me a shout ?
I'm also from Michigan on the west side, Newaygo to be exact, ever hear of it?
I live about 12 miles from the Hardy dam pond. I agree about the frozen north! lol Have had a few nights of -20 f degree nights here but my truck always fires right up. Looking forward to spring and getting back to boating and fishing. Funny you should mention your 74 Pinto wagon, I had a 72 Pinto not long after getting my drivers license to.
Sure had fun with that one.
