I just finished changing out my entire brake system. I changed the master cylinder, front rotors and hubs, front wheel bearings and seals, front calipers, front brakes, rear drums, rear wheel cylinders, rear spring kit, and rear shoes. I rotated the tires and bled the system thoroughly. On my test drive the brakes were awesome, even better than when I bought the truck last year. My problem is this, the wheels feel like they're out of balance now. I know it could be from rotating front and back but I should have felt it before I think, at least a little. I'm going to take it in tomorrow to have the wheels balanced but there's one thing that bothers me. The old drums and rotors had weights welded to them when they were balanced by Ford. The new ones I put on today were aftermarket and they didn't have any weights anywhere. Are you supposed to balance new rotors and drums before you install them, and if so who does that? I hope you don't because I spent all of 12 hours today installing it all, I sure as hell don't want to mess with it now just to balance it. Has anyone had experience with this before or anything like it?
