newby here a spedo problem
i have a 88 ford 3/4 ton truck with a cumins turbo diesel with a 1994 zf42 trans with a 1988 sterling 10.25 rearend question is trans is not drilled for spedo gear or cable do i use sensor on rear for spedomoter truck has no computer please help me obey speed limits .

The '94 trans doesn't have the speedo cable provision because in '94, the speedometer was electronic and got it's signal from the VSS sensor you mentioned in the rear axle. Is the speedo in your '88 truck electronic?
