aod tv cable adjustment
my aod has some slipping in fourth gear. the tranny has just been rebuilt and ive only driven it less than 10 miles. is there any way i burnt it up driving that far with a properly adjusted tv cable? or do i need to adjust it some more to clear up the problem. could someone please tell me the easiest way to prop[erly adjust it.thanks

The direct clutch in an AOD can be fried in 2-3 miles with the tp cable disconnected or badly adjusted. The proper adjustment requires an oil pressure gauge hooked to the tp oil circuit and a tool to pull the cable to the adjustment position so that the housing can be adjusted for proper oil pressure.
