well i got a '95 F-150 with the 4.9L I6(EFI) and the ZF5speed tranny. I want to swap in a carb'd 351, 80's year model i believe. Besides motormounts what else would I need to have a clean swap? And should i get a 351 windsor or not? My budget is pretty tight, but I figured I could sell my I6 after I'm done with the swap. Any instruction/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
First, you dont have the ZF 5, you have the mazda, and I dont think the 351 ever came with mazda 5, so it may be more difficult than expected. I am not 100% sure though.
You won't be able to find a flywheel for that transmission, since Ford didn't put a 351W/manual tranny in an F150 from 84-96.
You are better off keeping what you have, swapping engines takes a lot of time, money and skill. You can do it, but if this truck is your daily driver, and its all you have, you need to focus on something else for a while. We'll be happy to point you in the right direction when you are ready.

A clutch/flywheel from a 351W/ZF works with the M5OD, since they have they same input splines. Many people who have upgraded from M5 to ZF have just left the stock clutch in place. However, I wouldn't recommend a 351w in front of the light duty M5OD.
