Windshield washer
When I push in the wiper switch to use the washer, it sprays the fluid, but doesn't actuate the wipers. Is this the way it's supposed to work? Every other car or truck I've owned kicked the wipers on a few strokes at the same time it was spraying. If this is the way they work, is there a way to make the wipers do 3-4 wipes when it's spraying?

What year is the truck? My 90 does not activate the wipers when the spray button is pushed, and I do not think that it is supposed to. I prefer it that way, because sometimes I want to get some liquid on the windshield before running the wipers across it.
I think that the 92-96 Broncos with the control on the stalk, instead of the dash, might operate the wipers along with the spray.

JBronco is right, sorry, some earlier models allowed you to push the "spray button" before turning the wipers on and it was good for that reason. On my '94 there is always that first 1/2 cycle basically dry or in the bug guts.

Mine's a 91... Guess it's supposed to be like that huh? I was hoping it was just broke.
I wonder if you can modify it?
It's just more to distract you when driving down the highway, in slushy roads. Constantly pushing, turning, then turning back off. I'd prefer to just push it once, and let it go thru it's thing.
Any electrical gurus out there?
