89 Bronco II Speaker Wire Help???
Hello!
If anyone could help me out with this, I would be greatly appreciative!
I'm replacing an OEM stereo with aftermarket stereo but need help finding out which wires go to which speaker.
We have the speaker wire cluster but we don't know which color configuration goes to which speaker. Could anyone help me out here?

If you want to verify you have the correct wires, you can get a small 1.5v battery, and hook across the two wires. The speaker will make a little popping noise when you touch the 1.5v battery to it. If you can see the speaker cone, you can also verify the + and - this way. If the cone moves out when the battery is touched to the wires, then the wire that is on the battery + is the + wire for the speaker.
