ford radios
does anyone know if a radio from a 1955 ford car ,is also made to fit a 1955 f100 pick up truck . are they the same . I have seen some pictures with a dash that had the same cut out but no radio in it

Is it Round?
Check in the Members List for 1955 in their name and then check out their Gallerys. I'll bet you can see some of the interiors. I had a 55 car and it had that Round Faced Radio. Don't remember ever seeing that in a truck though.

They are not the same.
The truck used a round dial face with only a center control ****. The car radio uses a round face with push buttons below the dial.
And the speaker grills will only fit 53-55 the 56 ones wont fit the roof line.
