I've got a 1985 F-250 regular cab. However the previous owner used it as a plow truck, and only a plow truck, so the cab is 'seperate' from the floor, and the seat is 'seperate' from the floor, and the rear of the rocker panels is held up by the seat belts. So it makes for a somewhat un-easy feeling ride. My question is what years of cabs are inter-changeable? There's a 1990 F100 or F150 cab in a local junk yard that looks like it would be the same, but would it 'bolt up' or not? I saw another truck that looked to be the exact same cab, but even on that one the corners of the rocker panels are rusting out already, whereas the '90 cab is rock solid. Any help/information would be greatly appreciated.
The cabs from 80-96(97 on the F350 HD/350 and F600+) are identical, and interchangeable. The F600 runs the same 'ol 80-96 interior right up until 98.

the only cabs that are a direct replacement are 80-86. i am in the process of installing an 87 interior in an 81 and it aint all that easy. kick panels dont fit right, dash is way off, every thing else will work i think. had to fabricate something to mount the dash to. kick panels can be adapted without a whole lot of trouble. lower fender mounts are way off. if i had it to do over again i probably wouldnt do it.
